Feeding the Future

Access to education for all is the key to development in the poorest nations, yet millions of the world’s poorest children miss school because of poverty.  Mary’s Meals  meets the immediate needs of the impoverished child and at the same time tackles this root cause of poverty, by working with communities to provide daily meals in their schools.

This Argyll based charity now feeds over half a million of the world’s poorest children every school day in sixteen countries. Dramatic increases in enrolment, attendance and exam pass rates in the schools where they work are just some of the resulting benefits.  Mary’s Meals is a fast growing global movement whose vision is that every child in the world should receive one good meal every day in their place of education.
