Tickets are still available for what promises to be an engrossing debate at the National Galleries of Scotland’s Hawthornden Lecture Theatre on Wednesday (17 November).
Renowned academic and government advisor Greg Clark will deliver the second Edinburgh Lecture of the 2010/11 Talking Cities series, asking ‘What are British cities good at? Does it matter?’.
Lord Provost George Grubb said: “In an age when for the first time ever, more people in the world live in cities than in rural communities, the Edinburgh Lectures ‘Talking Cities’ series presents an outstanding line-up of influential speakers ready to explore this fascinating topic.”
